Rainy day...Gustavian grey...

By the way, in case you have very sharp eyesight, the grey patches on the wall near the console table aren't shadows-they're blobs of paint colours that I've been trying out! I'm trying to find the perfect pale Swedishy/Gustavian grey colour that won't look too cold! It is proving to be quite a feat but I'm not giving up yet...

Ranunculus...

I love Ranunculus because they have such nice round-shaped heads and springy stems!

Cath Kidston decorations...

As you know I'm dying to put up my Christmas decorations so I dug out this old photo...

Think my favourite are the Cath Kidston felt Stanley dogs which are too nice to put away...

The artificial Shaker-style tree is from John Lewis two years ago (still available on their website although it's got more expensive!!)-it has a real log type trunk, proper spiky needles and little acorns on the end of each branch!
