Hope Spider's on the mend. First days back are always the worst - that's what I tell my daughters. We're back to school tomorrow and Wednesday, a return to early mornings and packed lunches for us too! Have a good week

I'm back at work too this week, I had most of the summer off although did go in for a couple of weeks so it's not been so hard for me. But the thought is usually worse than the actual doing, once you're at work with your colleagues you fall back into the routine and it's not so bad. Just think, half-term will be here before we know it!

I love your photos! The cats in the buggy are too sweet. I had a vintage doll bed that I purchased for my cats to sleep upon. None were interested so , I gave it to a friend for her little girls to play with. Beautiful page. I'll be frequenting.
Sincerely,
Darly

Love you cats:) Both of our babies have respiratory infections too! Must be that time of year for cats.
I know what you mean about being in the dumps because school is starting. Sarah (my 5 yr old and my baby) started all day kindergarten and it's been killing me! So I feel like I've lost her a year earlier than I should have. We started back on the 15th of August. I'm finally kind of getting used to the quiet. Not liking it much, but getting used to it.;)

I have not read all your post yet and will go back straight away. I just had to say the picture of the cat in the pram made me smile straight away. Its just the picture I trying to paint. The pram is just little bigger but the same, there are two cats and a teddy bear in it. It took me ages to find all the referance and put it together and you had a lovely cat in the perfect pose, oh well. Hope things are going well back at work, I'm of to catch up with your blog.

These pics bring back good memories. I used to put my cat Charlie in a baby buggy and cart him around the yard. Bless his heart, he was such a patient soul to put up me. I miss having a cat!

That pram is amazing!! There's a cat mascot at the store that sleeps in one of the antique bassinets. Blessings.. Polly (p.s. the pokemon lady has a blog!)

Hi Sophie,

Your cats are too cute in that buggy! I have one cat named Cleo. She's very spoiled and doesn't like other cats in her house. She is the queen or at least she thinks so. Take care.

Good luck to your sister... and there are worse things than sharing a birthday, but it would be hard to share it with a sibling (specially if they were straight after holidays when money will always be short!

Hope the second and third day has gone well, my little ones aren't in til tomorrow, so the teachers have had two glorious days without children. I always thought they were one of the nicest times of the year, when the classroom is clean, tidy and ready... and there are no little buggers around to wreck it!

First day back was always blue for me, too. I love your pics of the cats...I have a ginger cat named Trouble who looks just like Spider. They could be cousins, identical cousins...like Patty and Kathy from the old Patty Duke show, lol...Your black beauty is quite similar to my Arial, too...Hope Spider is well on the mend!

I love your kitty cats!!! I have three! Hope your little friend feels better soon.

Oh I hope Spider is feeling ever so much better. Our Henry gets the sniffles all too often because of allergies. He gets so sad when he is feeling ill. I will be thinking of Spider!

Grace so loved the pictures of your other fur babies. Oh how sweet to be napping in a blue pram!

I hope this week will go well for you...it always takes a bit of time to settle in but you will! I will be thinking about you!

Hugs,
Sue

Glad that you got through the first day back ok, my Mum used to teach technology at secondary school, so I know all about 'being a teacher' how lucky you are for half your family to be teachers too!
That little pram is so cute, your husband certainly know how to make a girl happy!
Ella went back to nursery yesterday, so now I can get back to a normal routine, and get some work done!

I hope you adjust quickly to your working again. I love being able to be a housewife so I can imagine it is tough to start after being home for 6 weeks. Hopefully Spider will be fine and I loved seeing Squeak and Caspar. They are adorable in that little doll's pram! I have a long haired Siamese myself and he is quite a character. Unlike your Siamese, he DEMANDS attention all the time. He would prefer us to cuddle with him almost all day long.

Check out my blog later on today. I have been away for a few days this week and you will enjoy seeing where...

Hi Sophie, your cats are gorgoeus - hope he's feeling better now!

I've just been catching up with your recent posts - I'm so glad you didn't have a photo of the other Spider! A few years ago, I spotted an enormous one on the curtain in the living room - it was the biggest I've ever seen - I've never been the same since!!!

Sophie, I'm terribly sorry, but I have a confession to make to you, personally. I baked those stupid cookies. I know, it was wrong of me! I don't belong in a kitchen and I crossed THE LINE when I started making the cookies, but I was in a state, apparently. I'm over that madness now, however and wanted to check in with you to say hello! Thank you for your comment regarding my lost mojo. I hope you've managed to get yours back as well (although really, I can't tell that you've ever lost it!!). I think a trip to the UK would change my whole outlook on life, don't you think? But, barring that - I guess I'll have to settle for a good book written by one of your fab British authors...maybe Dick Francis. He always makes me feel good. Anyway, hope you're having a great week!

Your two other cats are so cute. I didn't realize you had three. The doll pram is very cute, and made even cute by the cats sitting in it. I do know how tough it is to go back to work after time away - even when I just have a week off I feel very down about going back. Hope that Spider is doing better. I suppose you give a report in the following posts which I haven't read yet.
