*Oh my!* Now they are just the cutest!
I do that with shoes too, and even go so far as trying lots of different outfits on to see which are the cutest to go with the new purchase ~ I should really get out more!
Sounds like a lovely Saturday you are having. Hope the rest of the weekend is just as good.
Oh and it's good to meet another Wickerman 'Fool'! *tee hee*

Lovely shoes Sophie. It's always a special moment when we get new shoes isn't it. I too have cut down on the magazine purchases and I rarely visit ebay now although I used to be addicted to it. Blogging must be good for us. I'm just sorry I didn't discover it sooner.

Fab shoes, they look great against that green box and tissue paper! You'll love Love in a Cold Climate, I've just finished it for the third time along with The Pursuit of Love - great reads! Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

But only wear them on a sunny day, and if you feel the need to stomp grapes in Tuscany take them off, and if your gelato starts dripping lean over someone elses shoes...

I WANT THOSE SHOES! Im so jealous!!:)
I read 'The English Home' yesturday, its one of my faves too,but I must admit,I didnt think this months was the best.

The quilt you have behind the shoes in the top pic is the same as the one I have on the end of my bed, is yours a kiddies size too?

Cute Cute Cute shoes!!!!!!
Yes, I actually stole an hour yesterday and lounged in our pool. Fully afloat in a blow up chair, diet coke in the pop holder and a lovely magazine in my hand. This is my favorite thing to do.

Hi, Sophie!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog :) I hope to have more pictures up soon (stupid camera issues!!). I, too, am a Sagittarius, as well as an ox-- here's to us!
Your blog is lovely; I really enjoyed seeing your pics and yeah, I agree: I'm spending less on magazines, as well. I confess that I would love to buy English Home and English Country Living, but the price tag over here in the States always stops me. You may feel the same way about imports, too.
Anyhoo, thanks again for stopping by. I'm glad I've found your blog :)

OMG Polka dot shoes, I think I'm gonna die with my legs in the air!!! I have a little bit of a polka dot obsession, I tell you to send them to me now, only I have massive feet (Its a good job, I'm rather well endowed otherwise I'd fall over!!!) Red was good choice!!!

The shoes are great! I wanted to stop by and thank you for your kind comment during my brief, yet crazy, blah period. I think I'm over it now - didn't last as long as it could have. Partly due to the warm fuzzies everyone out here in Blogland gives to each other. That's what I believe anyway! Thanks again!

Those shoes are just too, too wonderful! I love them!

I too spend less because of blogging! Isn't that a lovely side effect!?

I so adore visiting you here...

Oh! I loved all the wedding photos. Grace K was one of the most gorgeous and elegant women. I too love wedding magazines and watching weddings. : )

Hugs,
Sue

Your shoes are just adorable! And you are so strong to resist them until they are on sale. :)
I am absolutely sure they will go with almost everything.

I looked at your blog and thought that green bos looks familiar - I had also bought some shoes in the Boden sale - good reductions aren't they? Mine are not as lovely as yours but more practical - too boring to post about.

Thanks for your comments on my blog - Bicester Village would be a long hike for you and it must vary what the shops have from visit to visit. I thought the Cath Kidston fabric was worth it though and I would certainly go again. Lovely blog by the way.

Those shoes will make you feel cuter and no doubt bring a skip to your step! I love fun shoes like that, and how much better that you found them on sale!!!

What fabulous shoes! They look like pure fun. I read my magazine less, too, since reading more blogs. Much more entertaining with *real* people like you!

Love the shoes, they are just right for Florence (I had my honeymoon there and all because of Room with A View) and I know you will love wearing them.
I read my copy of The English Home yesterday in between visiting my mum & collecting the kids... my only spare 5 minutes.

Just tried to comment on your Cath Kidson / brainwashing post and for some reason couldn't work out how to do it. Am I doing something wrong? Anyway glad the paper is going somewhere in your house it is so pretty.

Sophie, love the shoes!! Very, very cute. I can see why you would just want to stare at them - I would too. Your day sounds very lovely!

I just love those shoes - couldn't comment the first time I saw them though. The English Home is one of my favourite magazines, I've had a subscription to it right from the start. I was devastated when they reduced it fom monthly to bi-monthly!
