What pretty beds, love the craved words on the wood one. Can't wait to see the rooms all decorated and how the iron bed comes out painted. I am looking for a tiny iron one for my garden like the one you have in yours.:) You home is truly wonderful!

Your sleigh bed is so wonderful. I have a guest room that we are finally talking about getting straightened out. I'm dreaming paint colors and fabric in anticipation. Can't wait to see your rooms!

I so understand! We have a few rooms to still decorate (3 years later) but I too get bored mid-task!

What pretty beds. I painted my bedroom floors all a creamy white. You'll love them. Your beds are beautiful! I can't wait to see the room painted with the Cath wallpaper and that darling bed! It's going to be great!

Hi Sophie
Loving those antique beds!!

The paint we used on the front of the shop is a colour I chose from a paint chart in a little hardware shop near to us, So im afraid I cant tell you which type it is. All I can do is try and find the paint chart I got the colour from, if I can I will send it to you, then you can do that colour match thing with dulux.
I'll have a look for it over the weekend,

The beds are lovely - so are their occupants:) The Cath Kidston wallpaper will look lovely with off white walls.

It sounds like the rooms will be darling. I love the idea of a feature wall with that fab Cath Kidston paper!! Can't wait to see it...

I adore twin sized beds- they are so sweet an you can decorate them so inexpensively since twin bedding is easier to find on sale... and the mounds of pillows you can use- gasp! Heaven!

I love both beds- they are gorgeous. The wallpaper idea sounds really nice. Make sure the teddy approves, though. Hee, hee.

Those beds are adorable! And to think these are your spare rooms. Antique beds are very pricey here. I love the quilt on the sleigh bed and then yet another beautiful teddy to adorn it also. Your home is so beautiful and thank you for sharing it!

Love your beds. I'm a fan of metal beds too although ours is actually wooden. I think you definitely should have a go at painting it. I really like the idea you've got for the two rooms. I'd love to have a place in the future where I can paint floorboards because I just love that look. Unfortunately we're in a rented flat at the moment so can't but I'll enjoy seeing what you do.

It is a cool name isn't it!! I just hope he's gonna be warm enough, mind you if his legs look nice enough, he might have lots of nice men looking after him and who feels the cold after a few g&t's anyhow!!!!

Oh my goodness, that wooden german bed is just too much! I love it!

I am desperately searching for a hospital cot to paint green, to replace Pebbles boring wooden cot, so I am rather jealous of those cute little beds.

You'll have to get stuck into the decorating as you have a lot of fans out there waiting for more photos!

Morning! Your rooms will be just gorgeous after your special touches -- can't wait to see the "After" photos! Such pretty beds! And I know that "look" from a husband when he sees another possible "find" at an antique show! LOL! Never mind -- he'll be delighted with the finished results too!

Gosh Sophie, do we ever share the same loves in decorating. My daughter's bed is an antique pine sleigh bed. I love the carving in the headboard.

I'm not tired of your beds! I love them just the way they are :)
I love also the chandelier you showed before. Gorgeous. I don't have a single one.

Really beautiful beds! Good luck with your project. I usually get tired of it all midway, especially painting walls. I think it was painting my kitchen twice in 2 months that did me in LOL!

Too funny reading about your bedroom project and getting bored mid-task, that would be me too! It's maybe why I have several illustrations that I started but never finished. Thankfully I have some that I just fly through and complete. I have to muster up to strip the rest of the glue off the walls this weekend from last weekend's wallpaper removal...too easy for me to move on to something else. Love the bunny with the blue eyes.

I absolutely love the beds Sophie!!! I love the bedding, and also your thoughts about the wallpaper behind the pine sleigh bed. I think it will be beautiful! I wish I could go with you to Ardingly - sounds like they have amazing finds. Thank you for sharing! And I was totally laughing when you said you pictured the look on Tom's face. This is what often prevents me from buying things - just thinking of Steve looking at it shaking his head.
