Ohhh I love those letters....it's become a collection now!
Thanks for your comment on my blog, yes it's really useful to have a plasterer, I need to steer my daughter towards a career in the construction industry I think! Hehe..... trouble is she wants to work in the fashion industry...that's no good to me! Your blog is fabulous, I'm so pleased you're finding time to post during term-time.
Oh your wicker vignette......I love everything! New cushion (what a trat!), pillow, and your boater, too. I can see your being mortified wearing it as a teen, lol, but all of you must have looked adorable! Chandeliers and lavender furniture in the garden? Oh, I can't wait to see!
What a great memory of those boaters! So different from us non-Brits who mostly went to schools that didn't have uniforms at all! That hat is lovely on that chair!
We have a king-size bed (ever since before child #2) & it has been heavenly! I don't enjoy sleeping in smaller beds now either, I'm spoiled!

Oh, my school uniform had a boater too! Fortunately it was optional to buy one, but if you had one, you had to wear it!
What a great blog you have! I love this photo to death. I can't imagine having to wear this hat to school but I love it like you do!

Lovely things - including your boater! Hang on to it, as they're increasingly hard to find in good condition.
wow what a great buy, great luck.
Cute hats, your school uniform hat reminds me of Mary Poppins(my fav film)
